First lens Ive used that has VR, it works really well and thats even with me using it. I have worst shakes than an old bloke with parkinsons.

I'd have a close look at that lens. It has strange colour cast! :p ;)



I'd be jealous, but it's a Nikon. :D

IIRC, this is the upgrade to the 70-300 G budget lens... Upgraded optics for less CA and better contrast plus VR. Now I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing some shots from it! :thumbs:

Musn't have read the "Fifteen Things You Didn't Know About Penises" thread :nuts: - Glad you got your lens already :p - no sign of mine yet :'( - mind you its Christmas & hard to use a camera when your hammered! :woot:

I had one on order but with such a huge backlog and the actual release date being put back almost weekly I went for 100-300 f4 Sigma. Let me know how you get on, wouldnt mind it myself really,...
