Beach silhouette

I saw these kids playing on the remains of the end of the pier at St Anne's, Lancashire, and thought the silhouette combined with the sunset sky might make a good image.

I like it - the silhouette and the background colours work well. I think it would also have made nice shot without the figures in it.

Thanks Minimeeze & Hypnotic. This was a hand-held 300mm (no IS) shot, but the light allowed a shutter speed of 1/800 so it was doable.

Agree, its a good shot, but Im undecided if the people add or detract from the shot, as it is I like it :thumbs:
