Anyone else suffer with brain fade?

Today I nipped into the town center with a thought in my head......a rare enough event in it'self.

I hunted down the item I wanted, in this case it was a off camera flash cable. 3 shops visited and I had a dedicated cable in my mits :)

All was going well, I got home and can honestly say that the shot I had in mind which called for off camera lighting on the cheap has totally vanished from my cranium

And i haven't even had a beer yet

I think age is affecting me.

This morning I went into the kitchen to make some coffee.

On the way to the kitchen I thought "I know, since I'm going past the stairs I shall pop to the lavatory on the way".

I returned to the bottom of the stairs minutes later, and noticed an odd smell. "Hmm, the cat tray needs emptying". So I did that, during which I thought "I might as well put the rubbish out while I'm doing this".

So, toilet, cat tray, rubbish out. There, a job well done.

I returned to the sofa and sat down. "Hmm, I fancy a coffee now".

LOL That is me to a T.

I try and be more organised, but end up breaking off into a tangent, doing other jobs, in the middle of what Im supposed to be doing.

I'm awful at remembering things to do, it's got me into trouble a few times with coursework, g/f's b'day etc...

I have a wall planner and PDA but i find that i forget to check them :bang:

Going out is the worst thing, i'll be about to run out the door and think oh i'll need X and Y, so i run upstairs get X and think there was something else i need but i can't remember, so i run downstairs again, the second i put my foot on the bottom stair i remember what Y was  I'm just 25 so it can only get worse :cuckoo:

Well I have a white board right here, next to the pc ... and I scribble everything on it.
Trouble is, there's now so much scrawl on it that it all sort of blends in together so I dont read it, hence I still forget all my 'to do's'!

DF, that cable wouldnt have anything to do with such silly stuff as actually getting the camera out would it?
Just thought maybe you wanted to dazzle us with your tree decorating skills!

I still can't remember exactly what I wanted the cable for

Yup, I get that when I'm browsing the web. I think of something to look up, then I open a new window and continue reading whatever I was looking at. Then when I have finished reading, I close the window and find a new empty IE window underneath. I then close that and go about on my way. :) Bliss.
