That's "groin" in US-English (I think) - the structures built at right angles to the shoreline - and nothing to do with aged anatomy :-) I took this simple shot for the line of decaying posts and the shadows they were throwing on the beach.

Would like to see this with a bit of grain and slightly darker imo.

I see what hypnotic is getting at. The photo does not convey a mood...it is kinda....neutral. I am not sure that it is the lack of grain or is it the tonal range/contrast. Might be worth a play with channel mixer, etc. :shrug:

Definitely worth working on as nice shot. :thumbs:
