After lots of research and help and advice from you guys in this (http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=14426) thread, I've ordered a Canon EF 100mm f2.8 macro lens from Kerso :woot:. As usual his service was faultless and his price unbeatable :notworthy:. I think I actually love him! I'm hoping it'll be delivered early next week so watch out for lots of macro from me :D .

Supposed to be one of the best macro lenses ever! Nice one!

Thanks Joe, that's kinda the conclusion I came to. Certainly ain't the cheapest macro out there. I seriously considered the Sigma which is very highly rated and £100 cheaper but in the end opted for the Canon, knowing the extra pennies would be well spent.

I'm looking to get this one too within the next few weeks :)
It'll be good to see some more examples of how good it is when you have a play :)

Good choice of lens Grendel!!! Are you referring to my little friend here:

He was alive, simply resting - shortly after this shot I took him to the garden and freed him with the words: "Go, Live your life!" - Great success!!!*:D

*With thanks to Borat!

What my mum does with our honey bees when she wants a sample is to stick it in the a box and put it in the freezer.
