Hi,

I know the Nikon D700 and D3 are supposed to have the best high iso performance but i dont want to go to full frame as i prefer the 1.5 reach i get with lenses.

What is the best aps-c camera for high iso performance

Nikon wise, the best camera with the best noise handling is going to be the D300. But iirc the D90 has a revised version of the D300 sensor and is slightly better at noise handling, but the D300 is better in almost all other aspects.

Seconded. The D300 should meet your needs.

Any of the olympus?

probably not due to the smaller sensor.
Sony A700 with V4 firmware is as good as Nikon D300.
