Hello all.

I bought the Sony a300 in December and have really enjoyed using it, done a couple of Blurb photo books which I'm very pleased with, but I'm thinking about selling it to buy what I really want, which is a Canon 50d.

I'd be interested in peoples views as to weather I would actually notice any difference? Would I see more detail, and would the photos look sharper? Do you think it would really be worth it? Thanks for you time.

Might be worth investing in some new glass or even an a700 or a900 :)

If you want sharper/more detail I would possibly be looking at investing in better lenses. (Depending on what you already have).

The Canon 50D is definitely worth upgrading to. Unless you have loads of lenses so you may want to go down the route of an Sony a700. But if I was with you in a shop I would be pushing you to get the 50D, 15 Mega Pixels, 6.3fps, 3inch screen with live view etc

Unless your rich enough to buy a 50D and an all new system of lenses, I dont understand why you want to:shrug:.

Why not just buy the best lenses you can for the Sony?
