How do you number your files? on disc?

Hi all

Just interested on how you guys number your cd's /dvds for your customers? or do you just leave the file name as they are? Just been trying to work out which way is best as I would like to number them on a disc so the B&G can just pick the numbers they want. But dont fancy numbering each file individually and I dont know any other way I could do this process.

If you could give me your views and tips of how you do it.

Would be a great help. I use nx capture and have adobe cs3,cs4

:lol: I understand this. But do you do this manual? As I have 600 files and dont fancy doing each on seperate. Surely theres away in Photoshop or some other software?

I do it manually because it is the last time I check the pics.

There must be a way to do it 'fast' but I dont know how...sorry.

600 is an awful lot maybe just keep the file numbers. [as you said]

Lightroom will automatically renumber images for you, as well as changing the ID. You can do the same in Bridge. Look under Tools> Batch Rename.
