Drop Downs ... ?

Hi nice Admin/Owner type peoples ... :wave: ... :D

Is it possible to add drop down menus to the two selections to make the second selection when entering these two categories please ... :shrug:

Forums
Galleries

And if it is possible, as I know it probably is, and you are that way inclined, would you be good enough to consider it for early action please ... :thumbs:

I know it probably means a little more work for someone ... but you could always give the task to Matty ... he never seems to have enough to do lately ... :D

OK ... keeping the link buttons for "Forums" & "Galleries" ... :thumbs:

But, as we do for "Quick Links", "Extras" & "Search" add a drop down for links to the other choices ...

Frinstance ... under "Forums" a list of all the available Forums ...

... and under "Galleries" the choices of top level Galleries perhaps ... POTY 2006, PTOY 2007, Kerso Competition, Members Galleries and Competition Gallery ... plus any we might add at a later date ... :shrug:

Would that be OK then ... :D

Yup, sure :)

BUT, I'm not sure if once you turn an option into a drop down menu (like quick links and extras), it stops becoming a clickable link itself (if that makes sense), so the buttons "Forums" and "Galleries" will no long work as options themselves....and theyre our two most common buttons.

I'll happily have a looksee, see what we can do :)

I am not sure I see the need for making the Forums link into a menu when there is already a Forum Jump box at the bottom of the page and it would be too long when open.

But the idea of having the Galleries one as a menu including the most important galleries would be useful, with one of the options being something like "All galleries" to replace the existing link.

As Michael has said Marcel (good idea ... :thumbs:) you could make the top selection something like "Gallery Home" to replace the existing link button ... :shrug:

And also as the ever observant Mij has pointed out ... there is a "Forum" jump box at the bottom of the page ... but I cannot remember the last time I used it ... not only do I forget it is there but I am generally at the top of the page when deciding where to go next ... so it would still make sense to include the Drop Down as far as I am concerned (obviously I cannot speak for others !) ... and same thing applies the first selection could be "Forums Home" to replace the current button ... :thinking:
