I got a pretty cool pair of Bluetooth stereo headphones for Chrimbo. They work great from the MP3 player on my mobile phone, although they obviously hammer the battery.

What I really want to do is pair it to my PC. I'm using a Bluetooth USB dongle and it discovers and pairs with the headphones, but I can't get it to actually output any music. :'(

Have I got the wrong end of the stick here - Is Windows capable of streaming music to the headphones? Could it be I need a newer USB dongle - I've had this one about 4 years. :thinking:

The headphones will run on Bluetooth EDR using the A2DP protocol , unless you've got a shiney new adaptor in the PC.... :(

sorry , I used to design Bluetooth testers , went into bibble-speak for a moment :D

Stereo headphones == Bluetooth 2
old dongle == Bluetooth 1
