The new Will Smith movie is titled "The Pursuit of Happyness (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0454921/)".

Isn't it spelled "Happiness"?? Looks totally wrong to me when I saw the trailer in the cinema! :suspect:

Yes it should be happiness, but its American English with all its flaws I suspect ;)

NO NO NO it is not an American spelling we spell it happiness also! The reason it is misspelled is part of the movie!

this is true, i was watching a review of this movie the other day,and it was mentioned why it is called "happyness" is revealed at the end, it looks quite a good movie too.

Its a stupid name. They've only done it to create a talking point, really.

Shoulda called it "The Pursuit of a Penis". Sounds the same if you say it fast.

From a parent's point of view I couldn't even imagine, looks like a real tear jerker. I haven't seen it myself but hopefully will soon.

American spelling, pffft :lol: good god!
