hello, my old epson filmscan 200 has bit the dust, I have approximately 500 slides that I would like to archive. The above slide scanner has been offered to me for £25 and I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge on it, ie, whats the quality like :)
Cheers

To be honest, at £25 you can't really go wrong, assuming it will work with XP (checked, it does).

Thanks Steep, will pick it up tomorrow.
Who knows someone on the forums may have a need for it like I did, I am sure something can be arranged.
Will post results.

i've got one, really wasn't very impressed to be honest. i paid about the same a couple of years back. it was great before i could afford a digital slr but the results were grainy as hell even on slowish iso100 film. but to be fair a good film scanner costs rather a lot more!
