I am sooo excited right now.
Just had an unexpected knock on the door from the FedEx guy, with a delivery... especially for me... http://e-group.uk.net/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif
I have just taken delivery of my most lusted after lens... the awesome Oly ED 7-14mm - and I am like a kid with a new toy! I wasn't expecting this for another week or two, but it's here, right now, and I am delighted.
This lens is so wide it's unreal, and its performance at the widest setting of 7mm (14mm FF equiv) is simply excellent. I had a loan of one for a few weeks back in the spring when I went to Sandymouth with my daughter and fell in love with the lens then - just didn't think I'd ever own one. Also, for a twitcher and bird togger, the extreme wides were the least expected lenses on my radar - so to have this now is even more astonishing for me; I've simply fallen in love with landscape/seascape/scenic stuff. Much to learn... can't wait.
So... we're off out this evening somewhere, don't know where yet, but we'll take the dogs out for a nice long walk. Might post some shots later... http://e-group.uk.net/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif
