a clumsy effort I know, but thanks to Pete and his tutorial I'll be digging out those old shots i had high hopes for, but limited CS2 patience!

just the one, exposed for the sky only in September.

Looking forward to now taking some braketed shots for the full experience :)

The reason I asked is that by bringing up the exposure for the foreground means lots of noise. had you taken 3 and exposed for the foreground and hill also you would have been able to merge with much better results.

I find that using 1 RAW file is just not enough

Thanks mate - originally it was a very silhouetted sky shot - now have some detail back :)

Absolutely right, but didn't even know what HDR was when i took this photos. I'll look forward to trying a bracketed exposure soon
