Setting EV on Canon 50D

Hi,

might be a silly question, but how do you set the EV on a Canon 50D. I have seen pictures with EV0.3 and 0.7 etc, how do I set this in my camera? I have found an AEB value that goes from -2 to +2 but cant find EV

if its the same as the 40 make sure the switch at the back is all the way up then you can set the ev using the back dial

So would I be right in thinking 1/3 = EV0.3 and 2/3 = EV0.7?

AEB is auto exposure bracketing, not what your looking for.
