Anyone know somewhere to get cheap Nikon EN-EL4 or 4a batteries. Only interested in original nikon ones, not copies or replacement ones.

Cheapest found so far is £59.99

Have you tried Kerso?

I bought an EN-EL3e battery from him, and it was only £30.... always worth emailing him for a quote.... get him at kerso1123@msn.com

Why wouldn't a 'replacement' be good enough?

If you change your mind, try here:

I just prefer to use an orignal thats all. Had replacements for my D70 but chucked them all due to various problems.

£59 sounds pretty good. I'd never use after-market batteries - no real reason, I just feel happier using OEM kit - if something went wrong you'd have no comebacks. Batteries do sometimes go funny.

Yeah I wasn't sure if £59 could be beaten. after-market batteries never perform like the OEM ones, so I stick to them. Plus I don't want to put a £15 battery in my £2k camera, the consiquences of a dodgy battery are unthinkable.
