Cheapest Digital camera with a hotshoe?

Im trying to do a little project but dont want to end up wrecking my 5dmk2 with the testing process. Is there a super cheap 2nd hand digital camera with a hotshoe on top and auto focus around?

Anyone have any suggestions?

Not sure if this option is viable but you could pick up a second hand film slr off ebay for £40 or less.

Some of the fuji finepix series had hotshoes. I know for certain the s7000 does. The older models must be quite cheap by now if you can pick one up second hand...
