Is there the only the official Nikon one available or is there third party ones that are just as good if not better?

Whats the best value for money? where's good to get it, they are cheap on ebay but i dont like ebay :(

the only one's i have seen are on ebay, i got a cordless remote from there for my D50 and it works fine, i got it from a seller called "FOREVER_COLOURFUL" it cost about £2.50 + £5 p+p, theres also seller called "LINK DELIGHT" they sell them for £1 + £5 p+p i've dealt with them before too, and there also a good seller HTH.

Yeah I got mine genuine Nikon off Ebay, works a treat! You will pay about £10 posted for a genuine.

I have one of those (the ML-L3) remotes, got it from ebay (cant remember which seller). it works ok, but being infra-red you have to have line of sight to the sensor on the camera, which is only on one side of the body.

I got a remote for Xmas - it's a genuine Nikon one, but I haven't used it yet, so dunno what it's like :shrug:
