Just interested in what people use as I need to invest in a load. I will use them mainly for flashes and as a backup in a grip.
I expect a large propotion will find their way into my kids toys etc as well!! so charge time will be a factor.

Eneloops are a pretty safe bet - make sure you get the 2000mAh ones if they're to be used in a flashgun :thumbs:

I use 2700 batteries, my last lot bought recently from calumet for 8 quid, great batteries, they stay quite cool after charging too.
I've just got some 2800's from 7dayshop. They were their own brand ones and cost about £4.50 for a pack of 4. I used them in my SB-800 over the weekend and they seemed to work very well for a good 100 flashes. They would have gone on longer but the recycle time was increasing a bit by then so I swapped them over.
