View Full Version : Tripod 'Pouch'??

Hi all,

A friend of mine recently mentioned that he'd seen a photographer with a kind of pouch that attaches to all 3 legs of a tripod and hangs beneath the central column (kind of like a hammock!).

The photographer was using this pouch to keep lenses and accessories to hand without having to go into his bag! This sounds great to me! Unfortunately, I can't find them online. I've no idea what to search for!

Can anyone help? Do you know the name/manufacturer of these?

Thanks.

Unsure about a separate item available... However, the Lowepro mini-Trekker AW has the hang-down 'pouch' built in. The tripod legs slot in to it, and the two built in QR bungees mid-way and at the top of the backpack hold it in place securely

Thanks for the link though locostbob. That's really helpful too.

Now I want one

They look great don't they! Simple but very effective.

The reviews are very positive too. (And how often can you pick-up a new camera gadget for less than 30 quid?!)

I'd watch this video before buying the Manfrotto. Looks like some of the lesser known brands have some additional features that are quite useful:

Just a thought! I won't be buying straight away. Still in trouble with her indoors over many other recent acquisitions!
