Hi,

Having just purchased a Canon 400d, and very happy so far i happened to find 3 Hoya 58mm things ???? not sure if they are filters or what.

1 x Hoya 58mm +1, 1 x same +2 and the final one is a +3.

What are these please and what will they do for my camera.

Sorry to sound like a complete numpty but am still learning.

Thank's:help:

They sound like close-up filters. They screw in to your filter thread and allow it to focus closer than it otherwise would. A cheap alternative a macro lens: http://timtrott.co.uk/closeup-filter-vs-macro-lens/
