I'm off to Scotland in October and am expecting there to be plenty of opportunities for landscapes. With that in mind I thought I'd invest in some filters.

Does anyone have any experience with the Hi-Tech filter holders as the built in 105mm ring for CPL filters is quite tempting? Preferably on the Sigma 10-20mm.

If not can anyone recommend the best filter holder to avoid vignettting on this lens?

Am I best off getting the Lee holder and a separate 105mm ring for the times I need a CPL?

Cheers

Leanne

Hi. I'm not sure about the vignetting on the lens you mention. I suggest a call to Lee Filters in Andover, or Hi tech, and ask for their technical advice. 10mm is quite wide but it may have been solved already. Sorry can't help more.

Don't know whether we just got sidelined, or came to a conclusion in this thread.

It is possible that the lee system didn't show the effect too much, or a linear polarizer didn't show a vignette, (apart from mechanical/lens)
