also- check ebay they are a lot cheaper- even new (if you really want one)

Not good -- just the price difference between these and lenses from the main companies should tell you something.

...and look at the aperture range.

When I looked at these a while back, I think you could buy them a lot cheaper from opteka direct.
The lenses are Ok, so long as you understand their limitations.

They use a mirror for internals, so there will be a donut effect on any bokeh
Taking shots of long distance subjects that are static will be possible, and could be OK.

However, if you consider that a 100-400 Canon would be ~£1100, and this 650-1300 is ~£279, that might tell you a bit about how well built they are.

I googled 'Opteka' once, and I couldnt find one good review.
