Some one gave me Hoya close up set 55mm +1 +2 +4, does not fit any of my cameras, does any one know what camera they fit so I can them away to someone who will use them.

Thanks Barry

If you did fancy using them, you can buy stepping rings to adapt them for your lens' filter thread.

Seriously I would check out ebay for these as they are VASTLY cheaper there than anywhere else. I paid £4 inc postage for a 52-55mm stepping ring about a year ago.

Make sure you order the right direction !!

Oh and as for the dioptra lenses, they are really very good indeed. I have used them to real good effect in the past.

Just a word of caution with stepping rings. If you're using a larger filter on a smaller thread lens, then that's OK, but if you're attaching filters to a lens with a much larger diameter you could get a slight vignetting. I don't know what lens you're going to be using them on, so I would try it out first before buying.

Thank you cowasaki but I must be one of the few that does not do any buying online, and I want to be able to take anything back to the shop where i got it if it goes wrong.
Thank you Carl V for advice, when I go to shop will ask and I always get great support at Jacobs, Me being "poor disabled old man on a mobility scooter" they take simpathy on me.:cuckoo:
