Not sure if this is correct but do all caps not just fit any lenses as long as they are the same thread size? Put the thread size in amazon or ebay and you should be sorted.

Try a large Nikon dealer eg Park Cameras but i am sure you will have one more local!!

No - this doesn't have a front thread - it has a fixed lens hood - the cap sits over that, so must be the OEM product...
