Nikon to Canon

Please dont take this as a "whats my gear worth thread" I know how much its worth, its more of a "what should I expect kind of thread".

I am deciding whether to change from Nikon to Canon and my dilema is this, I have a D2x and want the same quality so whats in the same league camera wise before I put it in the classifieds.

5D mk1 is really great with all FF goodness. Alternatively there is D700 for a bit more money. D2x is probably close to D300 that is better in some ways like AF.

Seriously guys I have moved from a D200 to the D2x with V2.OO A+B firmware which nearly takes it to D3 standards without FF (according to Nikons website) and to get even better images without expensive changes whats next for me.
This camera is the dogz nutz image wise but one always wants more ..... dont we
