I used to teach basic camera handling to students doing errr... shall we say military and Law enforcement applications of photography.
All digital now, but I may have some film-related powerpoints around. Give me a few days to see what I can dig out.
Shutter speeds, DoF, film speeds, how to guage an exposure etc. That sort of thing do you?

Ri-iiight... OK I'll start looking.

Anyone be interested in a sort of Masterclass Series?
Similar to the PhotoComp you already have running, we could host a tutorial series.
Set a monthly project and interested people can log on and have a go - leave it up as a seperate section then latecomers can still have a go at early projects.
Start with easy stuff like depth of field, fast and slow shutter speeds to begin with, then progress to People, Work, Entertainment, digital manipulation (though that might entail a whole seperate section), etc.
There's no Pass or Fail as it's all subjective, but between all of us we can hopefully bring along the skills of those who are new to all this.

OK I've had a look and there's nothing in my archive.
I've emailed my old buddies and asked them to send a disk down with all the PPTs on that I will modify to delete all restricted material before I hand them over. It may take a couple of weeks though.

Yup that sounds like an excellent idea and a very generous offer. I am sure that everyone will benefit from taking part in this if you manage to get it sorted and running.
