I was covering an open meeting at my sailing club. The first i've done with the 10D.
I found a lot of the images looked underexposed, though PS has resued all of them. I think this could be white balance, or alternatively the meter may be easier to fool than the D1 used to be - the white sails wouldn't help of course
anyway here goes:

Edit:
OK, i cant figure out why they won't work
The whole shoot can be viewed on http://www.chrismartin3442.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/gp_open2.htm
only one works for some reason, not really doing anything for me cos i dont like sailing! However, technically the shot isnt straight, lol...sorry, not much help at all really am i, sorry!
Just a suggestion, but if you want to make a pretty monochromatic shot into something really "eye-catching", you may want to make the whole photo B&W and just keep that 1 sail green. And this is just my opinion, but it may have been better to just catch the one boat other than both of them. When I look at this photo, my eye is immediately drawn to the bright green sail. The backround is nice, but the photo as is, is just a tad too cluttered for my taste.

I can't undestand why the other three don't work. They work fine a links.
I shot a roll of B&W on my RT which i should have back in 10 days - getting B&W film processed is a nightmare!
It looks straight to me if you look at the rooftops :? may be a little out perhaps ;)
i have no idea why they are not showing, very odd!

It looks like the house heights dip on that LHS. I think that why it does look straight but isn't. See the white house in the middle? try getting that roof near level and you'd be on the right lines. It would also give a better impression of the boats going faster with the air in the spinnakers (do they call them that on boats that small?)

Nope - no idea why those sailing pics aren't working.
Yes, I think I've got it...
The only one that works doesn't have an ampersand in (it's still imgxxxx.jpg), and I bet the software here sees it as some sort of delimiter so can't handle the URL tagging correctly. Either rename your uploaded pics to not have the & sign or upload them as they came off the camera (using the IMGxxxx name), then link to them again and I bet it's ok... :D

^^^^ Yep, I think you've definitely got it, by Jove! :) You can't use ampersands or spaces in filenames you want to display here.

I'll deal with that later then :)
