Having been here with no problems this morning I'm now getting the DNS message. Using the IP in the message I get back but am logged out and having chosen the grey scheme again it goes back to blue as I navigate!

we swapped the dns over, and then it all fell over, was working fine up until that point. I think if i had just left it it might have been a partially working forum, but i couldnt do anything at all, no log in or anything, so we switched back, it will take a little time for the dns to get back round though, some are browsing with no problem and some are struggling, im in the struggling category at the moment!

If at first you don't suck seed ... GIVE UP and have a beer or three ... :D

Well ... at least none of us expected it to work first time Matty ... ;)

Better luck next time baby ... :D ... you'll be back ...

EDIT: Just so you know, as if you didn't already ... the only button working from the url address you put up is the 'New Posts' one ... others come up with various errors or nothings and settings do not remain set as Robert has intimated ... just letting you know is all ...

KUP ... :suspect:

:p

Good luck Matty. I haven't the foggiest notion what you are doing but it sounds complicated.

BTW I got here via the IP message and am not haveing any problems navigating the forum.

some people might find this, Ian has only just got redirected to the wrong forums, ive got to reinstall them, ive got access to the control panel at all, even the Vb tools that allow access when its buggered wont work! Really annoying as it worked fine for a week while i tested it and set it up, followed the same proceedure we've used the last 2 moves too, but no joy.
