Ladies & Gents

Have been asked by a good friend about the above.

Needs to fit in a handbag, not get turned on "by itself" in such location (thereby buggering the lens) and obviously be as good as possible.

Suggestions please !?

I like the IXUS range by Canon, think you can pick up a 85/90/95 for about that money.

the cheap sony range is quite good aswell, i also know someone who picked up a pano lumix for £99 and its feature rich.

I have had Fujifilm, Canon, Casio and Sony's
All the ones ive had have been great, none have been the very latest and greatest nor the lowest in the range.
I think all the top brands have the quality and reliability well sorted, its more about making sure you get a model that suits the user and menus and controls your comfortable using.

for the price, the nikon s210 and the fuji A series are good.
