Can anyone confirm that Tamron are to release a 28-75 f2.8 later this month or early next as Ithought Ihad read it somewhere and now cant find it

are you sure your not thinking of the 17-50mm which is due very soon?
You may be right it could be the 17 -50 getting confused in my old age

there is a 17-50mm 2,8 with VC I think they call it on its way very soon I believe
