Ive finally fixed the gallery, thanks to darksaber for his help earlier today also...
Any faults or bugs let me know, any photos uploaded in the last 3 days will be missing though, so you might need to get any photos re-uploaded! :D

Just tried Uploading and got this nasty ...

Tried testing an upload and got this

True. clicking 'home' gallery link is blank page.
I'll try again when the 'lines' gallery gets added ;)
bugs will be dealt with in the morning, for those that cant get there from the top link, log out and back in and clear cookies....that should do it?

sorted now, should be working fine, i would suggest a bit of testing!
as soon as i have the setup correct i will upload the 41 entries for the Lines round..

yep, cant remember exactly but something along the lines 'can't save image'.

When I try an upload it just says page can't be displayed. IT is a pain in the wotis t sometimes, but it keeps me employed

I've just uploaded to and posted pictures using my gallery space. I had to use the 'quick links' dropdown though as the main 'galleries' link at the top is still a blank white page.
ok well i have no idea why the link at top doesnt work for some of you, its working fine here, Bods back online tomorrow, hes far more techy minded than me, so if you all use the dropdown for now...same with avatars, not sure whats up there, so bod can fix that one too...

I can see galleries the normal way but attempts to upload fail resulting in a blank screen at the following address:

yeah im getting that, dont know why its doing that, i had no problems yesterday afternoon, its only since i actually want to upload a proper picture that its doing it

Going into Galleries from the top menu bar and then My Albums after that I am getting this message ...
! (in a box !) The requested URL was not found on this server.
On every Album link ... :suspect: ... any ideas Matty ... :shrug:

None of my galleries work either - they all link out to a pretty bizzare url too
For my York outing gallery (going from the "My Albums" page) I get:

Where as going from "My Photos" I can get to the gallery and the url should be:
http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=896
So for some reason it is trying to link to a "Local Settings" folder.....thats just plain odd!

I have edited since you posted....Just go to Galleries then Click on "My Photos" instead of "My Albums" and you should be ok.

I now have two albums same title but can't upload. Can you delete one of them, 'cos I can't.

As a test I just created a new album. You are then taken to a overview page and none of the [upload photos] links work - for new or existing albums.

and properties on the links is http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/Local%20Settings/Temporary%20Internet%20Files/Content.IE5/416R0D6R//%22%7BArray%5B%27maindir%27%5D%7D/uploadphoto.php?cat=941%5C%22
If I go via quick links to 'my gallery' then I see a sample picture for each gallery and the links properties lead to a valid page. The empty gallery does not show at all though.
Oh and on another subject I still have to log it at random intervals with firefox!

local settings is a cookie location on peoples computers, so its not picking up the right cookie i dont think
i will have to get bod to look at this cos i cant findthe error source

Could it be linked to What Jimmy and I get when clicking on the My Albums page?
Might be a good rest for Bod - get him away from wallpapering - Though worse could be the thought of Bod stipping:gag:
Its not a cookie location, but a temporary internet files location.
Anyone who has this error, and can reproduce it, can you just try clearing your temporary internet files / cache for me, and trying again?
I'm just off to bed (new house, new bedtime :lol: ).....But I'll be looking at this error tomorrow (in the middle of decorating one of the kids bedrooms :p)
