Just got hold of one of these and going to put a roll of velvia and a roll of ilford chrome (if I can get some) through it at the weekend so is there a usb neg scanner available so I can see the results on my desktop:thumbs:

Oh yes shes a gem mate, got a battery coming tomorrow to see if the metering still works but I doubt it after all these years but still a beautifull camera:thumbs:

nice - i'll have a word with my uncle (he had the rest of my granddads equipment) next week, as he might still have the manual.

WOW Chris that would be superb and I would pay you something for it as like I said this is going to live most of its life sat on a vintage vivo tripod as a display in my home and the manual could sit under it in the cabinet

i'm just glad it's get used/displayed.
I would of loved to of kept it as it was my late granddads, but it would of just sat under the bed. (and i'm sure he would prefer it to be used.)

Chris, as this was your late Grandads, if ever I feel the need to sell it could I contact you to see if you would like it back to display on the vivo of course and free, just a thought

looks very nice on the tripod too :)
ahhhh...pretty, pretty camera - this was my first SLR too...also gifted to me by my Grandfather (along with his P08 Luger, Walther P38 etc...lol)...

Yes. That was, I believe, the best year ever to be born!
Don't worry about a scanner just to look at the slides - hold them up to the light.
Then buy a projector. You will never want to look at a computer monitor again.
