Hiya,
I went out to play with my new lenses this week and have issues lol. I cleaned both lenses with a cloth before going out.
Firstly the Nikon 12-24mm f4. Is this just an issue of my sensor needing cleaning? It only seems to happen at ultra wide angles. I had a tokina 11-16 last week and the same issue with the white dot at the top of the image. The dot doesnt always appear and sometimes (I think) comes out black.

And secondly the Bigma. Dust?

Many thanks in advance for your ideas and help,

Run the sensor cleaner a couple of times and see if they are still there, they look like sensor dust / hair

Looks like sensor dust to me... try a blow with a rocket blower or if that won't shift it then its either time for the Arctic Butterfly or a trip to a dealer for a clean.

Yup, deffo dirt or dust on the sensor...the dot may change from white to black dependant on aperture and shutter speed...I use Dust-Aid for dry cleaning of the Sensor and Dust-Wand for wet cleaning...both excellent.

1st three are shot at f/22 - that will show up sensor dust easily looks pretty dirty. try shooting wide open and I'll be you don'tt see anything.
