Velbon Sherpa 250R Help please

Hi

Does anyone know how the hell you splay the legs out on it?

Assuming its a similar construction to my 750R, there is a Black plastic clip at the top of each leg - you have to pull each clip "up" and then the leg can splay out.

- its not that obvious and can be a bit hard to do.

Again if it's the same as mine, with the legs in the "closed" position pull all three clips up (towards the tripod head), then open the legs 90 degrees from where they were for very low level deployment, if you want them at higher level move them back to the closed position and as you do you'll see the clips snapping down to pre set positions, I think they at something like 15, 30 and 45 degrees ?
