ok guys,

im making myself a car rig which i have all the bits i need, just waiting for them to be delivered,

im using a painters extension pole for the boom and glass suction cups for the clamps

all im tring to work out is the best option to mount the camera, im looking at the camera clamps on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270436595170&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:top:en

any better ideas???

I wouldn't trust that one linked as far as I could throw it, if it's hanging my camera above the ground from a moving car...

manfrotto superclamps are the standard in grip kit :) The bolts and spigots and camera plates are pretty expensive for essentially a screw, but still they're not too bad in the grand scheme...

I have a clamp similar to the one shown on ebay. I use it as a flash clamp and honestly that's all it's up to. I wouldn't hang a camera onto it.

Good car rigs need to be substantial hence not cheap.
