Thought i would try a slow shutter speed the shot was taken at 1/50 360mm and f7.1

Cheers must be when i re sharpened it after resize for web :thumbs:

I think that's just the movemet of the car relative to the plane of the camera, in this sort of shot it's near enough impossible to get the whole thing in focus.

I agree! I think the OP did very well here. 1/50th of a second with a 360mm focal length takes some doing.

Agreed it would be difficult at this length and it's impossible to get the whole car in focus, but to me it needs to be the front in focus and not the back.

I much prefer the second! I'm not too fussed about the back being in focus for these type of shots, but I don't like the front not being in focus!
Again though, the second looks like its been over-sharpened a little, most noticeably on the passenger's side edge of the windscreen.
Or I may be being over-critical as I've just upgraded to a 24" screen and it's taking a bit of getting used to!!!

its all down to personal choice really as im not over keen on the realy slow shutter speed shots as i think it looks better with the whole car/bike in focus.

The Beemer is a great shot, but I agree with the above comment - it's definitely oversharpened.
