I've been sucked towards the world of portraiture recently and am starting to think about an 85mm. Does anyone have any experience they can share on its feasability on a full-frame, or am i better off using the 100mm?
Many thanks

Thanks Pete - just what I wanted to hear :)
85 is a great lens, one of the best for sports and will be very good for portraiture with the shallow DOF.
What Ally said. well built, fast and great focal length. I use the 100mm macro and it is a superb lens but the 85 for portraits/indoor sports without doubt.
