had a bit of a thing for taking pics of my car recently so il put a few up and see what you think cheers

im sorry, do you have something written in your bonnet? oh dear.

have you thought about smoking out your side repeaters and the indis in your mirrors?

Very nice Kev, Lee's car seems to be trying to get in on the act too. On the last photo, I think you should have taken it from slightly higher up so you can't see right under the car.

I tried to work that out too, i think it says 'crazy' although the Z might be a P i'm not sure from that angle

yes mate it says crazy ..(il ignore the other comment as it was a tad childish) .......as im known on my car club as fordcrazy im their south coast rep.the idea is simple heres some pics of the full affect..

Very nice Kev, Lee's car seems to be trying to get in on the act too. On the last photo, I think you should have taken it from slightly higher up so you can't see right under the car.

without wanting to tread on toes, i should think that the scoop is just their for looks, i would think that the car is still natrualy aspirated. :shrug:

just guessing by the brake set-up

unless of corse its a deisel?


....


i like your rear spoiler is that an EVO one?

It's a 1.8 turbo diesel which was factory fitted with an air to air intercooler above the inlet manifold. In standard guise the air was fed to it through a channel in the under body sound insulating panel.

I know a thing or two about fords :D..................not to mention that you can see it say 1.8 diesel on the cam cover in the illuminated pictures of the text.

Another grey day in Newhaven I see. About time the council did something to tidy the harbour up isn't it.

The bonnet shots look nicely exposed. Not my cup of tea like but nicely done. Some of the other shots are good too but the have distracting stuff in the background like wire fences, lamp posts or other cars which don't help. Looks like there's a bit of camera shake too which I'm guessing is down to the poor light. Try taking a tripod next time or bumping up the ISO.

I would suggest waiting til the weather is better but it's Newhaven.;)

hi guys yes its a turbo diesel that was part of the attraction to it in the first place,the scoop does direct air directly to the intercooler but if it helps it is debatable.shes nicknamed the crazyford on my car club hence the crazy look,whilst knowing its not going to be everyones cuppa i do like the storm she creates where ever she goes.......hoping the weather is going to get better soon and il take her down to dorset and get some shots by the sea if i can find time as there is various car shows comming up hence the bonnet

dont worry mate when you do things like that then its bound to get some that dont like it,i dont take things personaly;) ;) ;) so wouldnt worry:lol: :lol: :lol:

Some nice shots but like Kev said some distracting backgrounds aren't helping your shots. for example in you last shot of the first set, it looks like you have a fence post sticking out of you bonnet. This and the wires would be easily cloned out and would improve it.

the irony is that i own a mondeo too...
err.. well kinda.. the bottom half is a mondeo anyway (i'll leave you to work that one out)

and mine is modded too, it has a champ car sticker on the rear window

quite a few of them are blurry and/or noisey.. cheap tri-pod will sort that out for you

im still there, in spirit, and occasionally as Donjuan. Was personal issues at the time, nothing to do with the members at all! didnt really have the chance to do a tata thread!

nice shows kev, number 3 is the best i think. did you use a tripod? the levels could be played about with a bit more i think to bring the colours out a bit more.

hi ya dal nice to see you again....no mate tripod wasnt used hence why they are a bit shaky il have to try them again with one i think ...lee get ya arse down here again lol
