I envy you that Africa trip mate. We have some pretty good wildlife photographers here so I'll leave them to pass comment on your pics. I like the giraffe shot though.

I am really only aiming and shooting, I do not claim to be any good, but luck does bring some great shots. Kenya was real good.

You have some great shots there Andrew.

I'd love to go to Africa at some stage in my life.

You have some great shots there, it certainly looks like there where many photo opportunities!!! I would be pleased to have taken many of those myself.

Some of the smaller animals/critter photos would have been better if you had got down to their eye level and it would have also allowed you to possibly get better backgrounds to set them off.

Yes you are so right steve but we were not permitted to get to close as we were in a live Animal kingdom and were required to remain at a distance. But yes in an ideal world it would be cool to get closer.(But some of the blighters actuallybite and stuff) I do take on board your suggestions.
I must consider background more, I do think about it but it is not always possible, but when you do, the pic is so much better.

Yes as you say it’s not always possible to get closer or to get to eye level but its the think that I noticed straight away and thought I would offer the suggestion should you find yourself photographing small critters again sometime soon. :D
