My present monitor, although I've tried to colour balance it with various software, shows a picture with a different hue to that which I print out. I had a picture professionally printed and that was the same so I know it's the monitor not the printer. Its only 17" and about 5 years old so due for replacement anyway,

So, what do I get at a reasonable price? Reasonable to me being under £150 ;)
I just want something 20" or above that I can balance to give me a picture that will look something like the one that prints.

I have the Dell Ultrasharp 2209WA - excellent for the money. It's an S-IPS panel so more accurate for colour editing

At the moment it has to be the Dell Ultrasharp 2209WA

Or there could be an older 2007wfp / hp 2065 still somewhere (or ebay).

Make sure it is IPS panel type. 90+% of monitors are TN type and are barely acceptable for generic office work. Avoid them.
