Hey everyone,

Just a quick question I hope you can help with. I am interested in getting CS3(no way can I afford CS4). What price should I be paying for the full version?

Cheers

Andy

Amazon says £299 but look into Photoshop Elements (about £55) if you're not going to be using it for crazy graphic design stuff. Also GIMP "LINKY" (http://www.gimp.org/) may be some use to you too, nowhere near photoshop but may cover everything you need for free :D

Know of anyone who is a student who can do you a favour?

http://www.studica.com/products/product_detail.cfm?productid=58370&storeid=4&gclid=CMnQwo2XlJ4CFdBb4wod-EZoqA

£154 inc VAT for CS4.

'ONLY STUDENTS are eligible to use the Student Edition products and these products do not contain a serial number. Students who purchase must go through a validation process directly with the Adobe. A form contained inside the box must be faxed to Adobe Customer Services with your student ID or a letter from your institution proving you're a current student in order to receive the serial numbers to install the software.'

There are some good prices on ebay for cs2 / cs3, as for gimp, actually its quite good, offering similar features to photoshop

I heard that the CS4 for students is time limited for a year...renewable each year if you still have a valid student id (email I think)...obviously...dont know if this is true...if not my mates a teacher and id consider it myself...

Anyone know if it is time limited...? Id also be interested to find out...
