Rear screen dimensions of 5D mk 2

I am looking to fit a Giotto rear screen protector on my 7D, however Giotto don't as yet have one available, and I'm wondering if the 5D mk2 screen has the same dimensions.
I would appreciate accurate measurements of a 5D mk 2 screen if someone would be so kind so I can compare the two.
Alternatively (and even better) if there is someone with a 5D 2 in my area we could perhaps meet and compare.

Well I know that fits the 5D 2 but it's one for the 7D I'm after and want to know if the 5D 2 one fits it, hence my request for dimensions as I could get a 5D 2 one now.

I have found the cheaper GGS ones to be much better than Giotto's ones. They are just as clear and they have a much better stik and seal to them.

They have the 7D ones on ebay that you can get sent from HK, mine took around 7 working days to get here:

I have measured my 5DII and it is larger than my 7D, being 5.5x6.8 cm compared to the 7D which is 4.8x6.4 cm. You would need to cut the protector for the 5DII to make it fit.
The outer cover of the 7D screen is made of glass so IMO should not easily scratch and not need a protector.

Thanks JJ and Paul, I'll certainly look at the info you have given me.
I'm not so worried about scratching the 7D but the possibility of impact damage.
I consider myself pretty careful with my gear, but have damaged a couple of screens over the years, and they are expensive to replace.
