PRIVATE MESSAGES QUERY

I've just got a 'private message' from someone called MARCEL BOOTH that has come through on my outlook email but not in my private messages on this site. It is just titled Marcel Booth New Private Message at Talk Photography.
It looks like Spam but I'm not opening it just in case! I'm a bit concerned if it is... can anyone advise please? Is he a member here? :(

Basically, what happened, is that you received a PM, and you got a notification email from the forum system, telling you so.

You then replied to that email, thinking you were replying to the PM sender, when infact you were replying to the forum system. And all emails that get sent to the forum system, come to the admins :)

So I emailed you back to tell you. Didn't want you thinking the recipient had received your message and was ignoring you :)
