Now that I have a larger monitor 800px images are looking a bit small. Can I request your consideration of the possibility that at some point should funds become available an increase to 1000px might be considered?

I'm running on 1680x1050 and I still think 800x600 is fairly standard and acceptable.

We did actually poll members on this yonks ago and 1024X768 proved to be by far the most popular desktop res. As a result we increased the then forum pic size limit from 600 to 800 pixels.

800 pixels doesn't interfere with the page layout and there's no scrolling involved which really tees most people off. :shrug:

It's worth remembering that it's easy to right click and save images, so keeping the file sizes reasonably small limits the use to which the unscrupulous can put your shots. We get some pretty impressive work posted here and there's always those looking to get something for nothing. ;)
