First, second and St Georges Hall are the best imho. The angle on the 2nd is really good. The bridge shot I didn't think would work while we were there, it just looked a bit plain but you've done a nice job with it. St Georges Hall is odd. While the tower is straight the Hall is looming over the statue. Is that your crazy barrel distortion or is Liverpool just that wobbly? :) Either way, good job :D

The China Town ones are a little bland for me. The dull white sky on the first is annoying and I can appreciate you couldn't have fixed that :) The clouds and the sunset style one don't work imho. Theres nothing really in the first cloud picture to look at. The 2nd one seems a bit dark and doesn't have much of a sillohutte (sp).

Second shot is best by a mile in my opinion :) Liverpool looks like a great place for photography

Thanks guys. It's pretty good yer, theres lots of variety in a smallish area.

Seems like we are promoting it well anyway.. hehe. Must be at least four threads for it now. :D

yeah lots of liverpool threads now....will have to go round maidstone and plug that instead, lol

all nice, but #2 really makes me stare....would have prefered #1 to have less stuff in the background too

I'll ask them to demolish the City of Liverpool next time I take the shot :)

Thats going a bit far, they could just move it! Engineering the way it is im sure they could lower it for 20 mins while you get some shots :tripod:

The seventh picture could be the best from this collect by a mile, the problem with it is that the silhouette splits the picture right in the middle and this makes it very bland at the bottom. Cropping this picture just below the detail of the silhouette so that the sky becomes ¾ of the picture really makes this photo work. It becomes a balanced and interesting photograph.

Just my 2p.
