Go on you have a try as well ;)
As to the pic - I like it - Wondered about the shadows on the back wheel - something like Photoshop or Elements might be able to bring out a little more detail. - Do you mind if I have a try and post the results?

Its the only way we learn.
Quickly used the shadow / Highlight adjustment in Photoshop - Thought it brought the wheels out a bit.

maybe I should have just masked the wheel areas :(

I use Photoshop CS2 - which I think is around £500, BUT elements is about £60 (think there is a download on adobe site for a 30 day free use) or some folk use GIMP http://www.gimp.org/screenshots/ which is a free bit of software that I believe is quite good. (though I've not used it), think someone mentioned google Picasso is quite good as well, and free.
Like the second pic - good capture (and congrats on learning how to post pics)

I just got photoshop elements from Amazon marketplace for £23. They are marketed as second hand, but the serial number has not been used, and it works perfectly.
