View Full Version : Midlands Curry Night?
After chatting with Inaglo, is anybody interested in a Midlands curry night ? In the Walsall/Wolverhampton area ?
Ill see how many responses we get then we can sort a date out if enough people are interested ! :)
Dont forget Birmingham, Ian ... or even just outside ... maybe Wocester or something if peeps dont fancy town.
Would be good to have a central curry night though, pretty please :)

I'd be up for this! If in Brum itself, might stay over somewhere cheap rather than drive late at night. What about Northampton.....any good curry places there?
I'd be interested depending on where it is. I hate do's where I can't rat arsed cos of driving. :p
Beverley and I could be up for it. I mean Beverley is "Baji Bev" after all  . Depends on dates and as we'd have to travel up it would be great to make a photog day of it too  I'll even wear a flower in my hair again

I am sure that a few of us from Redditch will come along and join you
Ladypool Road not as good as it used to be (in my opinion), great Curry House in Bromsgrove, really good food and take your own drink
Holiday Inn Express for any people wanting to travel and plenty to take images of locally - just a thought...

Looking for a curry house in the midlands, Melton Rd Leicester. there are millions of them:lol:
Dependent on when this takes place I would be interested.
i too may be interested in this if i don't have to work, there are plenty of curry houses just on the outskirts of town on the bristol rd, or in town itself.

   Curried Turkey anyone?
Ladybird, IanC and myself all seem to be close to one another, so maybe we could car share? How about a day in Brum taking pics around the canals and city centre (some nice oldish buildings I think) and then food? Maybe even stay over so we can all have a drink?? I was in Brum today....god those roads are scary!!
What about May....or is that too far away?

Well I dont know about anyone else but May sounds fine to me ... we may even get to leave our gloves at home then.
Like your idea Carole and May is good as is gives everyone time to get sorted. Coming from Southern parts Beverley and I would have to sort a hotel for the night

If someone comes up with a date soon, you should be able to book into a Travelodge for £15 :)
Bargain! That'll do me

Rwotton suggests may 18/19/20 as this is a rcing at Donnington session. How does this suit everyone? Those who want to stay and take racing pics could combine the two.
Unfortunately we can't do that weekend but if it suits everyone else then not to worry

Maybe a tpf gatecrash is in order :woot:
What about near the end of march
Saturday 24th march
Be careful if staying in the centre of B'ham
We stayed at the Travel lodge on Broadstreet and 5 cars parked down the side road were broken into over night!
There is a great curry place next to the canal just off broadstreet, but its posh!! and expensive... but good :)
