View Full Version : Associated with the Sea
Couldn't resist putting another few up as i was doing the uploading. Bit of a mix of images, but do have the ocean/sea in common.

I like 'em, in fact I love the last one - very Salvador Dali
First one does nothing for me, not sure what your going for in that shot. I like the last one as well. Colours seem a little saturated, or is it just me? still a nice pic. :D

Colours aren't saturated at all, at least not digitally, on that last shot. It's actually a scan of a print that i did. May count as cheating as it was taken with a film camera. The photo is cross processed and then i hand printed it, sky was exposed seperately in the darkroom from the same neg, then i just scanned the finished print, all i did digitally was to remove any dust.
First one is a shark, i wanted to have an image that gave the feel of what it is like to have a shark attack you.

You can be very happy with the first shot in that case as this is exactly what I first thought when I looked at it. Normally I would get all arty farty about technical points but this image is just great and stands up by itself. Well done.
The last image I personally can’t take to but that’s just my taste, as CT has already said that he likes it, that reassures me that it once again is just a personal thing.
The Second shot is very commercial looking, I can visualise this shot in any number of brochures or in an abstract way advertising some product. It’s a very striking image that grabs your attention. Again I like this image a great deal.

3rd shot, WOW, cracking work, I love it.
all 3 are very good, well done!
Cheers for all of that! I'll have to go out and see if i can do a few more shoots along the same lines as these, it sounds like this sort of stuff goes down well.
