Woooo hoooooo I just won a "as new" D700 on the bay including a MB-D10 grip. Might sell the grip but I'll see if I use it that much. So half way there with my purchases for the safari trip, only the 17-35 to go!

Now I have to wait for it to arrive, I hate waiting for the post man!!! :thumbsdown:

Congrats, my tog mate has a D700 and its a cracking camera.

You will love the D700 mate, and I would imagine once you have handled it gripped, you probably wont want to sell it ;)

I've just got a D700 and love it to bits!

I went from D2Xs to D3 - BIG jump in image quality, whatever the ISO.

I then went from D3 to D300 as the result of a burglary - gutted! Finally got back to FF after 8 months.
